Technical work, kept in proportion.

I am Lukas Stepanek, an independent researcher and builder based in Vienna and usually working on European time. Online I use krooksn / krx in some corners of the internet.

Most of my attention goes to machine learning systems, autonomous agents, practical research tools, and the constraints that appear when ideas have to run on real machines. I care about open-source work and hope to make useful contributions to the ML community over time.

Computers take a lot of my attention, but I do not want them to take the whole shape of life. Books, family, friends, and time away from the screen matter too. I want serious technical practice, and a life that still has texture outside it.
